We are resting easier now that all the pups have more than doubled their birth weight. The first pup to accomplish this feat was the little yellow male pup at 7 days of age! They are all up walking, albeit a bit shakily, with their bellies off the ground. Yesterday the orange girl opened her eyes for the first time. The quiet contentedness of the first week is changing to a noisier second week as the pups try out their vocal cords with a variety of rooooos and squawks. They still seem to do very little crying as Cricket is very attentive and feeds and cleans them almost constantly...Deb
