Last month we highlighted one of our show vendor's dogs - this month our U. S. Distributor's dog graces our page! Striper is a Best in Show and multiple Best in Specialty Show winner, who qualified for the Showdog Hall of Fame before he was four years of age. Striper is in top form after winning Best of Breed over more than 170 goldens at the NORCAL Golden Retriever Specialty in Carmel, California in August. Keeping this handsome boy's coat in peak condition despite the climate of his Texas home is quite a challenge, and Duurstede is a key component of handler Sherri Samel Hurst's grooming arsenal.
We should note that Jane also is an owner of the current number one Golden in the U.S., Salyran's Take It to the Limit (Shaq), and an owner of his dad, Zia Ginge Mr. Moonlight (Scotty), who was the top U.S. Golden the previous two years. She is president of Source Ménagerie, a mail-order supplier of unique dog goods and gifts that also serves as our U.S. distributor.
